Branches of Monroe County was founded in 2009 by Executive Director, Denise Hill. With the help of many dedicated volunteers, Branches provides shelter to women and their dependent children fleeing domestic violence.
While in shelter, Branches works to break the cycle of violence by offering survivors case management, job search assistance, and life skills training which will give them the skills needed to live independently of their abuser. Once they are ready to move out of the shelter, Branches can provide additional support through its affordable transitional living program for those who qualify.
Our Gallery & Re-Store Shops are open Tuesday through Saturday 10am- 4pm.
