Main St. Building News

Great news! The next phase of Branches business plan is here! We are now placing the Main Street property on the market for sale so we can focus all our resources into Branches Refuge, Monroe County’s first and only domestic violence shelter. Branches Gallery and Restore will remain open and we will continue to accept donations until we have a buyer for the building. For more information, please visit Main St. Building News.

Branches of Monroe County was founded in 2009 by Executive Director, Denise Hill. With the help of many dedicated volunteers, Branches provides shelter to women and their dependent children fleeing domestic violence.

While in shelter, Branches works to break the cycle of violence by offering survivors case management, job search assistance, and life skills training which will give them the tools needed to live independently of their abuser. Once they are ready to move out of the shelter, Branches can provide additional support through its affordable transitional living program for those who qualify.

Branches Gallery & Re-Store Shops are open Tuesday through Saturday 10am- 4pm.

106 Main Street, downtown Madisonville.
